Why choose Electric Confetti? What sets us apart?
- We have a phone and a functioning email! We have a shop you can visit! Not only that, but we exist in the flesh! This might sound silly, but if you had one single “less than ideal” experience with faceless, online businesses, you know just how important those things are.
- We are professionals. We are talented and qualified designers and illustrators. This is our main occupation, not a side hustle.
- We’ve been around since 2015. We use an offshore manufacturer that we’ve exclusively used since the beginning (with the odd exception). We also make signs locally, in Australia if requested, or under time restraints. Therefore, we can say we make signs locally, but not always. If you come across a company that claims its signs are exclusively made in Australia, we suggest asking more questions.
- Our materials are the best and most durable that modern technology has to offer. Do not be fooled by thinking we use cheap ‘tape’ LED strips. The internal structure of our LED neon is a higher-quality product. Our product is called ‘DIP’ as opposed to ‘SMD’. It’s a series of individual mini bulbs hand soldered together to form the light, then encased within a PVC (silicone?) jacket. Not only do we get more detail in the text, but the corners, and joins are also tighter. DIP is brighter and lasts longer than SMD.
- We have the cutest pink shop that has become a tourist attraction. We offer in-store design services, or customers can come collect their signs in person.
- Natalie and Scott are a husband-and-wife team. They have four young children who do not participate in any way other than staying away from fragile items. It’s a family business in every sense of the word.
- We drive a car that gets the business a lot of attention! It’s a Japanese import minivan. Stamped as a VW, but it’s a Subaru! This has no bearing whatsoever on our competitive abilities, but we couldn’t help bragging about it.
- We also locally manufacture glass neon signs. We love it and would recommend it above LED in certain circumstances. If you hear others besmirch, vilify, or sling mud at the concept of glass neon signs, there is a high chance that they have no idea what they are talking about.
